Our role

Primeway acts as a business associate to the research organisations it serves, under a signed Business Associate Agreement with each.

Uses and disclosures

Health information is used to determine study eligibility, schedule visits and support the study, and is disclosed only as permitted by HIPAA and the agreements in place.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask for corrections, ask for limits on how it is used, and ask for a record of disclosures.

Safeguards

Encryption in transit and at rest, per-organisation data separation, access controls with multi-factor sign-in, and an audit trail of who viewed or changed a record.

Complaints

You can complain to us or to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. You will not be penalised for complaining.
